So right now I look like death. I’ve a broken nose and two black eyes. So not sexy
So yeh… sympathy required !!!

E-Learning is learning which is delivered or enabled via electronic technology. Lessons are generally designed to guide students through lessons to help them perform specific tasks.
The Mathematics E-Learning System enables teachers to create exercises and presents these exercises to students. Students can then carry out theses exercises and get feedback when they have completed them. It gives them an analysis of their work which helps students to find their weaknesses and improve on them. It helps students to expand their mathematical knowledge and develop their mathematical skills.
The E-Learning System allows students to get adequate practice using these methods and ensures they are able to apply these to different mathematical related problems.
Right so i’m not doing the android app for my FYP…. BUT i’m going to do that anyway as a nerdy hobbie…
I’ve decided to develop an interactive front-end to an E-Learning Maths Tutor and Assessor which was developed previously by a student last year.
There’s a few reasons why I picked this project. One of the main reasons is because I’ve a sister in 2nd year who finds some maths difficult to learn. Gonna use her as a ginny pig.
I got my first full removal on Saturday. Previously i had got the inner star removed. That hurt but nothing compares to the pain when they remove the outter bits.
Took a video of them doing it. It only lasts 19secs because i started screaming after that !
Here’s a picture taken after it was finished

This is what it looked like 20 mins later

Notice the swelling !
6 days later and its still sore. Very itchy and burns a lot aswell.
Have to wait 5 more weeks before I get another treatment as it takes that long for the skin to heal
I’m not one for reading up on things before I start them.. it sometimes makes me nervous and I think if i start reading up on android apps development I might cry or something so for the moment i’m just gonna jump right in and hit the ground running.
Well i’m lying a little bit.. i did a small bit of reading.
Step 1.
Install Eclispe on my Mac. - I’ve only programmed in PhP, MySql and HTML since I’ve gotten my Mac so had no need for Eclispe untl now. I HATE Eclispe. It gives me a pain in the face but unfortunatly for me I will be coding in Java and although it pains me to admit it, Eclispe really can’t be beaten for Java development.
Step 2.
Install the SDK. - Done
Step 3.
Decided that i’d like to use Ubuntu so made myself a Ubuntu laptop (yes made one, built it from scratch with wood and glue)
So I really don’t know what I’m going to do for my FYP… I’m thinking that I should develop an app for the Android (http://www.android.com/)
The reason i’d like to do this is because 1. I’ve never done anything like it before and 2. Have you seen how feckin cool the Androids are ??
I’m still trying to decide what kind of app i’d like to do. Reading up a bit more on the Android at the moment to try and figure out what it doesn’t have (don’t really wanna create something thats already there
).
I was going to develop a web based staff monitor system. I got that idea from having to manually input employee details while working for Crescentfield and instead of buying one i’d rather just make one myself… anyway i think i’m going to do that anyway.
Bless your cotton socks McGettigan…
